圣灵与人的肉体和世俗的情绪血气是对抗的存在，就像直线的两端，离一端越近就离另一端越远；所以如果想在属灵的争战中得胜一定要首先寻求圣灵的同在，别无他法，人永远无法靠着意志力胜过情欲和各种罪性，只有依靠圣灵；神的话就是灵，就是生命，就是武器，所以多读多默想圣经，圣灵才会同在才有可能胜过罪而得自由和释放。
